When I got some pictures developed, the lady gave me a free photo album. Yay! Actually, I didn't say "yay..." I said "yuck." Here's the before pic:

I threw out that ugly blue paper... though it convienently slid out of place. So, I used some card stock and cut it down to fit the opening. Then, I marbled the card stock with shaving cream (see the featured projects).

Taking some magazine cutouts, glitter, and modge podge, I created the front:

And the back:

Now it's time to say Yay!

They have a whole bunch of little photo albums at Jo-Ann Fabric for like $1, but I never saw any with covers I liked . . .  now it's not a problem.  Grin  Thanks for the great idea!

Wow what a cool idea! I was thinking about making one for my boyfriend and putting pictures of us in it for our anniversary this christmas! Maybe I could decorate it with movie stubs and things like that! Do yall have any other ideas? Also.. did you put bright eyes on there b/c of Bright Eyes the band? If so, I secretly love Conor Oberst (the lead singer) Grin

I think that's a great idea and your boyfriend will love it. And, no, actually, that's not why Bright Eyes is on there. In fact, I've never even heard of the band...

I'm in love with Conor too, Whit2389 (though not at all secretly, haha. I know I'm a nerd!) I think that this looks really good, it makes me want to revamp all of my old photo albums. My mom would have a cow though, I guess she likes the 90's wallpapery look...
