Do we have to move this into the sewalong thread you reckon? Or can we keep it here as part of out curvy and craftiness? I'd be happy to stay put and just keep posting on this thread, we all know where we are then!
I was wondering that myself.
I love your fabric! I think black velvet bands would be beautiful. I'm a huge (har, har) velvet fan myself, and I love your lying on the couch in a velvet gown scenario. Smiley

I PM'd one of the moderators and she said it would have to be moved into the sewalong post Cry I did ask if there would ever be the possibility of Clothing for Curvacious Craftsters having a child board sewalong and I was quickly give a no.

Cry Cry Oh well, I tried

Dragonflower, You sound like a hard core romantic! I am the same way! I could just see that in velvet it would be scrumptious!

It's been a while since I have sewn so I I started with a muslim pf the pattern.  I usually wear an 18 so I cut out the 24.  I tried on the top part of it and I couldn't get it over my bust!! What gives??

Divine- you cannot go buy RTW sizes trust me! You have to go by your measurements instead! And Simplicity is the worlds worst about making you feel as if you are the size of texas. I have to modify it even though I cut out the largest size because I have a large chest. Making a muslin first will make it easier for you to add fabric by sewing it onto the muslin to lengthen the width where you need to then you can take apart the muslin in the appropriate places and use that as your pattern. This is what I have to do. I know it seems like a long and lengthy process; it is. Cheesy But, the perfect fit is well worth it. This is why I sew my clothes. I like them to fit right! I got tired of paying 50 bucks for a shirt to realize I would have to have it tailored!

Ohza well LOL

Modified to add link to thread where all further questions should go:

http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=118177.0

I don't mean to step on any toes, but the mods told us it had to be moved Cheesy So there it is!
