I've been wanting a retro jumper all summer. Now that summer's over I finally made one, haha.
I used Simplicity 4157 ($2.44 at Walmart), modified it, and used $1 black and white houndstooth fabric which I thought was sort of modern retro. I modified it a bit, shortening it probaby about 8 inches and slimmed out the front of the straps. It's been alost three years since I've used a pattern and the first one I did mostly by myself.

(The leggings are purchased- Target.)

It doesn't look so much lke a kid's vinyl paint smock in person as it does in the pictures.

I'm still wearing it right now. It's not perfect or anything, but it's actually kind of close to what I had in my head.

I was thining of putting pockets, but I probably would have screwed them up. Plus I didn't have any coodinating fabric to make them out of unless I wantd houndstooth on houndstooth. That would have been interesting haha.
