What are things you all look out for when thrifting/mucking about that you like to pick up for crafting later? I like:
-retro cookbooks
-old bridge tablecloths
-little kids' t-shirts
-assorted mismatched shot glasses
-picture frames
-costume jewellery
Just curious to know... Wink

I'm obsessed with vintage brooches...I can't get enough of them!  I find most of them at antique stores...if  you really look around you can find some great deals.  I love them because they are from a time when things didn't have to be functional...just sparkly and pretty.  They are so Jackie O.  Anyways I can't leave a thrift store or antique store with out one.

I also buy vintage hardback books.  I either go for the really old looking ones with ornate covers or the super campy ones with pictures on the front.  So far I've made a few of those clutches out of them...I'm hoping to make a bunch of really good ones to give as gifts to my friends...my attempts so far are not gift worthy quite yet...but close. Cheesy

Oh yeah also old records...for the record and the cover.  Also old magazines...I'm currently looking for old Playboy mags to cover some boxes with.
