I know I said AGES ago that I would post pics of my project... well, better late than never!  Roll Eyes
BlondieKate sent me fabulous yarn she dyed herself so that I could make the Dayflower scarf.
Here is a pic (on my scanner, no dig camera  Tongue): it is still a WIP since I had to stop and work on an xmas present that needs to be sent early, but I'm 3/4 done the scarf and hope to finish soon.  This is my first lace project and after several false starts (I should know better than to mix red wine with learning a new technique  Roll Eyes) I found it really easy to do.
Pic doesn't do it justice since you can't really see all the beautiful purples in with the blue (looks greeny-blue on my screen, but in real life is purpley blue), but I just loved working with this yarn and I wanted to share.  Smiley
Oh - and she also made me the little knitting charm that I'm using to mark the pattern repeats!

Thanks! I'm so happy with it!
I need to finish it soon because my fall coat is lightish blue and the scarf will be a perfect match.  Smiley

Lovely.  I just love that lace pattern.

Speaking of WIPs to finish, I've been too busy with Christmas presents, birthday presents, and swap projects to finish the other Fetching.  Must get to work...it'd look so nice with most of my outfits.  Why do "me" projects go so slowly?  Cheesy

lol the reason why I have one of them done at all is because I brought my knitting to the baseball game the last time my dad got tickets.  True to form, it rained before the 4th inning.  Instead of just leaving, we moved back to a few empty, sheltered seats and waited out the rain.  So I got lots of knitting done sitting back there.   Grin
