BlondieKate, that yarn is gorgeous!  I just started kool-aid dying this week, and I think dying yarn may be my new craft fascination.  What kind of dye do you use?
halfelvenwriter, I use Wilton's food dyes.  They come in little jars in paste form, and a little goes a long, long way!  For Bloo's yarn, I dyed KnitPicks Bare in DK weight available here with Violet and Royal Blue.  I dyed the Violet first, and after the colors separated (purples tend to do that with Wilton's), I overdyed it in the Royal Blue, to give it a richer color.  The pictures really don't do it justice...my mother saw it and wanted to steal it!

sorry I've been slow!  Here are pics from what thevampirehanna sent me:

The yarn is Silky tweed in a very pretty orangy color with pinks and browns.  She included a cool lipstick pen, a cupcake pincushion, some domino magnets, a bunch of neat stitchmarkers, a carrot pin, a tiny knit pin and one of those cool expandable washcloths.

The pattern is for a lacey scarf!  I have to finish a few other things before I start, but I am excited!

Thanks Hanna!

Those domino magnets are cute! Are they printed/painted on magnet strips?  I'm writing this down for a stocking stuffer idea for my son.

Same thought here, but I'm thinking magnet buttons glued to dominoes.  Oh, now I must pick up dominoes the next time I find a cheap set.

Thanks.  Priced Wilton dyes last night while I was online.  I might give that that a try.

well I have finished my Knucks so I have recieved all my goodies.  But photobucket is being a complete pain and isn't uploading the pic for me Sad   So I am just going to post a list of all the goodies right now and hopefully I can have a pic up soon!!

Handmade items
-an AWESOME handpainted jack skellington figure made out of a wood clothespin (how clever!!)
-an unbelieve hand carved stamp that has my itinials on it in a harry potter fashion Wink
-a little notebook, perfect for jotting down my spur of the moment knitting ideas on the go.
-a glass jar with a polymer clay top with MYBS (magic yarn ball swap) written on it.  The jar also contained a wonderful chocolate which was immediately consumed.
-the stitch markers that I posted pics of earlier with the yarn ball...and I must say the special stitch markers for marking the fingers for the gloves came in very very handy

Other goodies
-3 orange buttons..which rock!
-a copper metallic thread to embroider on my knucks, it looks beautiful on the yarn
-cool "I believe in you" cards that open to reveal an inspirational quote
-pretty pink shimmery make-up...i use it for eye-shadow but it seems multipurpose
-a sculpted ladies head with is cool and creepy at the same time, I am working on an art piece to put it in right now!
-a flower patch
-a 3 scented candle...which smells great!
-2 deep red tassels which will go on a sewing project soon!

All my stuff rocked Ashenteardrop!! You were a great partner!!
