OK- I really do need a new brain for Christmas! The Pink Hat is going to SevsOnlyGirl- the Paris  one goes to Kaesea. Duhhh! I actually did send them out right- but I kept messing up the envelopes so I confused myself! Very sad this getting old thing. Hey- If they arrive switched around -let me know and I'll send you each a few handmade cards to cover the postage for the switch.ok?  Patti M (pjmclnj)- here are examples of my cards

I had some good mail today. Look at these two awesome cards:

On the left is "Bad Hair Day" by Modus Operandi. I love the colors and the yarny, out of control hair. It's exactly how I feel when I get the frizzies!

On the right is "Maps", by Goatgoddess. It's an unexpected twist on the map theme, and I love it! I had to photograph these two cards together because I think they favor each other. I'll bet the girl with the map hat has bad "hat hair" up under there!

Thanks so much, Modus and Goatgoddess. I love these two cards!

I received my two cards from Stifflersmom today!

So far I only have a picture of the Gypsy card:

I love it!  As nerdy as it sounds, I love words, so wordy cards are most definitely appreciated Grin

Capturing the image of the (also wordy and lovely) Absinthe card is proving tricksy.  It has this cool little 3D glass of absinthe in the corner that confuses the heck out of my scanner, so I'm gonna have to battle play with my evil camera to get a pic...

...unless Stifflersmom has a good one and beats me to it...hint, hint Wink

Mmm...words.

I love the card!  I cannot wait to see them in person.  I feel so privileged!

So many things fail to interest us, simply because they don't find in us enough surfaces on which to live, and what we have to do then is to increase the number of planes in our mind, so that a much larger number of themes can find a place in it at the same time.

Patti - don't worry, it'll all work out!  If I get the wrong card and I like it, I may just want to keep it for myself! Wink

Stifflersmom - those are great cards, I really like the circus one.

That's alright.  It's about time I beat my camera into submission...stupid cheapo thing that it is with its complete lack of macro capabilities!
