Okay ladies, I called a weekend break (for me choosing) so you gals could have a chance to make ATCs for each other and nobody has picked in 24 hours!  What's up?  Yesterday me and CharlieBrown picked Gingerquilts at the exact same minute, and now nobody is choosing?

Just teasing.  I will have to jump in again later...I have a hot pink doily with orange polkadots DYING to be made into something grand!

I've been watching it and holding back too! I'm on vacation at the moment and I thought it would be better if I got back and made the other two cards first.  Smiley

Not to mention I also have to finish reading Silas Marner before school...

I just received my first ATC for this swap from Stifflersmom. I am on my way to an ATC exhibit, so I will post pictures when I get back.

I got my first card! It's a Cosmo themed card from the ever-amazing gingerquilts. It's fabric and quilted, and just perfect. Thanks, ginga, it's wonderful.  Grin

That's an awesome card!  I love the green fabric.

Thanks for picking me aliastriona_angerboda, I was beginning to feel like the ugly stepchild. LOL
You're welcome.  I was starting to feel bad for your poor little list Wink

...and I'm fairly certain that when Stifflersmom asked for "something done in glitter" she didn't mean my mousepad...or the entire right side of my forehead...yet they both definitely qualify right now.

Crafting is going so well for me at the moment Roll Eyes

Ohhh, crap!  That cosmo ROCKS!  I hope I am not in over my head here....we will have to see when y'all receive, I suppose.
I didn't think I was out of my league with you guys....but Gingerquilts, that RULES!  And I think I sent you 2, right?  Smiley
(nervous)

and charliebrown is going to an ATC exhibit?  Ok, welcome to the big leagues, I guess!  I was hoping mine woudn't look like they were from the TOTAL noob that I am, but I am beginning to be nervous.
Guess I will have to find an ATC gallery to browse to see what is common.

aliastriona_angerboda: Glitter issues, sounds fun!  Tongue

Sorry charlie (for not picking you) I promised to take a quick weekend break (since my DH is home).

Off to sulk and worry that I may not live up your your expectations...Sad

Now, now, OriginalYouth, you can't be our invisible friend if you fret too much!  Cheesy I have seen some of your work and I think you are nuts to be concerned.

You have to remember that ginga and her quilted cards are in a league of their own. She is pert' near famous around here.

kkkk, that's better now.  I'm alright, just a bit of a tantrum.

See, among all my friends and fam and church peoples, I am the crafty queen...they all just assume I made all my jewelry, clothes, baby gifts, cards, art, etc.  (which, usually I do).  I haven't ever known ANYone who crafts and thinks and creates like I do (in so many areas)...I mean, I know great scrapbookers, quilters, artists, etc...but no one else who lives and breathes to create all kinds of stuff like I do!

That's why I LOVE Craftster so much!  I feel like there are plenty of gals around to challenge my abilities.  I just haven't ever felt like the little fish (in the big pond) before when it comes to crafty-ness.
That doesnt sound cocky does it?  Basically, I feel I am with my own kind of people here...whereas the people at church just gawk at my abilities but don't really give anything for me to aspire too...like YOU GIRLS do!

(thanks for the reassurance!  I won't whine anymore!)

Ditto in a major way! I found craftster last year and I love it for all the same reasons. Smiley *sigh* I do wish more of my non-virtual friends were interested in crafting... but oh well!

And I adore that cosmo card, great work gingerquilts! ( Be sure to choose me some time  Grin)

Wahahaha! Definetly been there before!  Cheesy
