I'm new on this site. I've been working with polymer clay only since 3 months. Last week I made this flower wreath out of air-drying clay. It took only a couple of hours, and I'm really happy with it. I'll post some of my polymer clay pictures soon.

Really great job on the sunflowers. I like the way it turned out. About how large is the size of the wreath?

hello and thanks so much for your replies!

Air-drying clay is nice to work with, but it comes in limited colours and you don't get much working time. U have to be quick to mold stuff. The wreath I've made measures 6 inches in diameter. The base of the wreath is kinda sturdy, but the flowers and leaves are delicate, as I've thinned the clay down while molding them between my palm and fingers. Thick flowers look unnatural, don't you think so?

Here are two pictures of some clay characters I've made. I've only started using polymer clay since 3 months, so my projects are not as nice as I'd have liked them to be. I firmly believe in PRATICE MAKES ONE PERFECT, so I'll sink my hands into some more polymer clay soon. I have three kids... the youngest being 8 months and the oldest being 5 1/2 years. So, as you can see, I have my hands full... but I do try to sneak in some time for myself. I also love cooking and doing other crafts. My other passion is flower-making, using coloured paper. Will send pics of those later if anyone wants to see. I'll upload more pics of my polymer clay work soon. Hope you like the ones I'm posting today. Have a nice day! Smiley

The flowers and leaves are so well done, and beautiful. As is all the rest of your work.
