I have a post for soda can tags here: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=98967.0 There is a tutorial on page 3 for them.  The pics are missing now but it's pretty straight forward anyway.

Yes I can make different shapes depending on what dies I have. 

I have made some tags (which are on craftster somewhere) and flowers too but I didn't upload those.  You are really only limited by the equipment that you own and whether the shapes are suitable or not.
