I love Mary Jane shoes, and thus slippers, but all the patterns I saw were either felted, which I can't do because of a front loadeing washer, or in garter stitch, which I detest on my feet.  Well, I guess I kind of detest it in general.  I have no idea why.  I'll tell my therapist about it later Smiley.

Anywho, so I made stockinette stitch pink and black slippers for my sister.  Let me know what you think.

Thanks!  I started with this pattern http://www.kindagrape.com/projects/janes.htm and then basically made it in stockinette stitch.  I played around with decreases and such till it looked good.  I think I have my notes around here somewhere if you'd like them.

I'm sure she is going to love them

Have you considered making the pocketbook slipper pattern?  It isn't felted... and they are sooo cute!

I keep saying I am going to make them on my knitting machine but the ribbing just is too much for me to deal wtih - by hand you could probably whip them out super fast!

Those hot pink ones are cute - just thought I would throw out another not felted slipper pattern for you!
