I have to make about 18 small gifts for a small group of new college freshmen.  I can't spend too much money and I wanted to do something a little bit unique but still on the cheap side.  Perhaps something they can use their first year of college?  I was thinking record bowls but does anyone else have other ideas?

Thanks so much!

using the college's colors would be cool; but what to make,  hmmm.

i'll have to get back to you on that.

are they res. hall dwellers?  or some other "special" population?

most will live in the residence halls, but there will be some who will probably commute to class from nearby.

decorate some pens??? Oriental Trading Company shows some where they put doublesided tape on the pens and then rolled them around in tiny beeds (smaller then seed beads). Something you can use, and shouldn't be too spendy, specially now with back to school sales going on

Sorry I've been gone so long. Am trying to get back on the boards. Body's thrown me for a few loops these past months and am still learning to adjust. Thanks for your patience.
