looking for a good way to pack seeds

my friend is interested in flowers (studying biology) and as her birthday is in september i wanted to give her some seeds i collected.
now i'm looking for a nice way to pack them.
unfortunately all my film boxes were used up for collecting beetles.
and i dont want to make little fabric or paper pouches because last year I made her an "advent calendar" (couldnt find the word in my dictionary, do you know what i mean?) with little pouches containing beads and stuff.
what i want:
they should be small, i would like to be able to put a picture and the names on them and perhaps some small description (or i'll do a booklet)
I' ve about 30 seeds, so i will need many packs and therefore the material shouldnt be too expansive or hard to get.
I thought about little origami cubes forming one big cube (or perhaps something like a soma cube, but I'm not sure how to connect them.
Ideas?

I think your oragami ideas sound cute, but depending on the size of the seeds they might get lost in the folds of the oragami or through holes.   I save a lot of seeds and would recommend making envelopes for them.  I guess it sounds kind of boring, but it leaves plenty of room for drawings or antique seed labels.
