Perhaps adding a ruffle or contrasting band would work. I myself just figure that everyone else can put up with my butt crack. I tell myself it's cute and they can get over it. They just don't make pants or underwear correctly as far as I'm concerned.

I have a pair that's the same way and I just don't wear them, but I think the ruffle idea is great! I'm going to put that on my project list. The boy will love a ruffle too. I'll post a pic (sans rear-end) when I get them done.

Atkins?  I thought it was South Beach now...........personally, I say enjoy the undies.....it is after all the land of the free, so feel free to let it all hang out.

And they do make underwear all wrong.  It is such a crap shoot if you don't buy giant granny undies that go up into your armpits!  They make be hideous but at least you know what you are getting.

Be nice, people!

I would suggest that in the future, you buy one pair of undies, then if they are good go back and buy more.  Sorry, that doesn't really help your current situation.  How about adding some wide decorative elastic to the top (like rainbow-striped or something, you know what I mean?)  If they're not comfortable though I'd just bin them and learn from the mistake.

Man, the other day I bought a g-string that was too big, I didn't think that was possible.  It's impossible to tell if my butt's shrinking because it will always look huge to me (and before anyone suggests Atkins, the rest of me is tiny, k?).

I've bought the exact same pair of underwear (in different fabrics, colors, etc) from my favorite mall store for about 6 years. They are all I own

Seriously. You don't mess with a good thing.

They sell underwear elastic that looks like the kind on boys' underwear, and by "they" i mean, you know, the craft/sewing stores and junk.

Depending on what kind of underwear it is, that could look cute at the top.
