Hey just thought it might be a good idea to run a thread to keep everyone up to date when the relevant pattern brands have their sale (like vouge for $12 at lincraft last month, and $7 vip sales at Spotlight).  Cos i figure im not the only lazy one (im the kinda girl whos happy to wait and only have to spend $12 on a pattern rather than $20 unless its urgent!)

I agree, this is a great idea, I always try to prolong making something till it's cheap now too! That and the fact I'm too lazy and broke (busy with work... is my excuse and lazyness) to make stuff for full price

I think we should open this up to craft sales in general. I love knowing when there is fabric sales and the like on! As well as patterns!

They don't have it often, but I try and keep my eye out for it... bearing in mind that most of the time they dont' have the new stuff that's on the vogue website!

i just found the solution to that delimma! there was this gorgeous dress (simplicity 4116) but alas it was not in aust yet (simplicity has an australian site - i cant remeber it but google it - that has release dates) and wasnt coming for some time, so i checked out Etsy and there it was - it cost AUD$14 inc postage (and the seller was awesomely fast in getting it out to me) so perhaps check etsy or ebay usa and you might get a bit of love
