I love them!  I'm doing something similar using an old cartoon classics book.  (ie flintstones, jetsons, tom and jerry)  My problem is that I've finished one and cannot seem to get motivated to finish the second.  Maybe you will inspire me to finish.

dang I can't see the pic of the finished shoes! BUt it's funny cuz I'm doing the same with regular flats. I bought the comics a few months ago, but was already working on those origami shoes. So I only started cutting out pics and stuff last week. Can't wait to see the finished product!

Someone told me to use Polyeurothane spray to seal the shoes. I tried it on my origami ones and so far it seems to do the trick Smiley

2. So many of us have those shoes! Must mean we have great taste in common, of course  Wink

3. An origami version? Make sure to post pictures when you get them done, sookie74.  Smiley

I see them now! Very cute! I like how they're all facing the same way (top to bottom). I was just going to throw them on in any general direction, which would probably look really messy!!

I did post the origami ones a couple weeks ago Smiley http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=112423.0

Now I need to go to the thrift store to find more cheap shoes to cover. I have a bunch of old porno mags I'm going to cut up :p
