From the show House m.d.
This is the man himself complete with cane.
He also doubles as a place to hide your vicoden!
Dr.House is played by Hugh Laurie.
If you haven't caught the show yet the new season starts Sept. 5

This doll is made from polymer clay and muslin for the body. The face was drawn and painted with acrylics.

I saw the title of this from the main board, and went O_o, since I'm about three feet from a House plushie I'm making for my mum! Small world, or maybe it's just a great show and deserves lots of fan-crafts Tongue Love the pants, and the beard-scruff came out well too, hard to get the right effect on fabric and I can't imagine it being much easier on clay.

Oh cool... House my favorite show!  Love the cane too, you did really well on all parts  Grin

Did you happen to see Hugh Laurie on the TV show called "Inside the Actor's Studio" recently? ... it was quite interesting (he also played and sang an original song with a piano they had).  I was almost used to the English accent by the time it was over ....lolol.

Just keep an eye on the show... they do lots of repeats (looks like he's on again on Aug. 28!).
Here's a link:

I'm not sure that the Bravo channel is on all cable line-ups though ...that you'd need to check out.

It may be possible to rent it through a library loan, or maybe at a university library since most of them have theater departments and I'd imagine they'd had the whole set of shows somewhere.

There's probably a transcript of the show too somewhere online, and certainly transcripts of other interviews... but unless they're links to live interviews you won't get the accent!
