Star Baby Blanket~Along

here's my latest starghan.  it's for a former co-worker who's pregnant with a girl and her favorite color is purple.  i used the vanna's choice yarn.

I wonder if someone might be commisioned to make of these for me... if anyone is interested pm me.

I don't really know how to crochet myself. I would be interested in trying this, but I am afraid this may be beyond beginner range...

There's an awesome tutorial w/pics a few posts up, it's really a simple project once you get past the first two or three rounds...  then it's just double crochet the rest of the way!  I would try it for yourself before you have someone else do it for you, it's really not that hard.

When I first tried this blanket I thought it was hard until I found the tut with the pics now I can do it without the pattern. I am currently working on my 5th on and have plans to make more.

Every time I hear that my photo tut was helpful, it makes me very happy It also makes me wish I has used better pictures. Maybe I'll improve it an make a version 2 sometime.

Ok silly me being lazy and in a ruch realized for the whole first color of the blankie I was messing up the pattern. So what's a lazy girl to do? ONWARDS HO! Just going to do it right for the rest of the time and let it shape itself out! haha. Now I know better for next time! And I need to start paying more attention to what I am doing and not the TV lol!
