oooh! everybody's blankets look really great! I started one a couple of days ago with some horrible acrylic yarn just to check how this was made... and went on with it, so now the star should be like 25cm from one point to another... I wonder how big I can make it with the yarn I have because there is no more of this at the shop Sad

I'll try and post a pic later

That's pretty much what I'm doing, except I have like 3 shades of baby yarn I'm trying to get rid of. I'm also using a N hook instead because I wanted it to be bigger.

I don't know exactly how big an N hook is. I am using a 3 hook, as it says the inscription (I am in Spain so I guess this should be the European clasification?), and I wish I had used thicker yarn and a 6 hook at least!! this is going to take forever...

btw, what is "baby yarn"? is it yarn especially for babies? there is just a shop here sending just a few colors and brands, about just 20 different options in ugly colors Sad

here's what I already have, I am now liking the colros a bit more... tomorrow a friend of mine in another city is going to the local branch of the shop where I got it to check if they have some more... I would really like to finish it in a big size!!

Baby yarn is a thinner type like sport weight. And an N is 10mm thick. And I love the color of your blanket (is that a chenille yarn? or a silky? either way its gorgeous)

my yarn says 100% acrylic, it has a sort of shiny look. and thanks for liking it! Cheesy

Great job Vikiki. It does look all neat and tidy.  Mine is a bit wonky I think.

I really like your colors of Silverfisch

Oooh!! I didn't even know there was a CAL for this but I made one and I LOVE it. It is for my bf's cousin who had a baby about a month ago. I used LB Homespun in two colors. It is so soft I wanted to keep it!

I'm almost finished mine.  It was a fun pattern.  I'm not that patient so I used worsted weight yarn and a 5 mm hook so that it would grow faster.

I made this one for my friend's new baby.  I used Bernat Satin and a 5mm hook.  I loved the pattern.  The yarn was super soft but wasn't as soft after washing.  Hopefully this post works.  It's my first time including pictures.
