Here is a pic of the one I finished for my niece.

I like the pattern the variegated yarn made.  Reminds me of a raspberry-vanilla smoothie.

lol...now that you mention it....it does.

I started mine without the row of white between the color changes and it looked funky...it just didn't blend well.  I like it a lot better with the white rows added.

There will always be people who say mean words  because you are different, and sometimes their minds cannot be changed. There are many more people who do not judge others based on how they look or where they are from. THOSE are the people whose WORDS truly matter.

It is Bernat Baby Yarn (Walmart).  It is soft and cuddly.

I finally managed to finish my blanket after a month of labouring. Since I'm really not that great at crochetting that was quite an effort for me, and this was actually the first project I fully completed. And I gave it away as a present too! The baby is due in a week and a half so hopefully it will come into good use soon.

I"m gonna post a pic up when I get round to connecting my camera. But already I'm thinking about making another one... it was so easy yet the result is so gorgeous!

My star blanket...

Its for a baby girl, and the mother distinctively doesn't like pink, so I think she liked the yellow.

Don't get discouraged, I had a HORRIBLE time starting this too, as did a ton of other people.  I know there are pictures in one of the help threads, but even that didn't help me.  I just had to keep doing it.  I'm sure there is somebody out there who has done a few and could help out.
