what a coincidence! i have been browsing the net for some ideas of making a wrap dess. i'm definitely in!
La crystelle, what pattern did you use? or did you draft it youself (i know it should not be that difficult, theoretically Smiley) i absolutely love your dress!!

thanks, here you go for the tute. I Used a pattern which was in the burda young, but following the tute you get the same, except for the sleeves, but it's not that hard to add by yourself, is it?!

sleeves are actually the hardest part! :S

Looks like this thread got put on hold.  So i'll start it up again.  Wink

Anyways, I'm making a wrap dress, and this dress inspired me:

So I'm making up my own pattern, and winging it.  I drew and cut out the pattern pieces today out of newspaper.  And monday I'll start cutting out the fabric.  

Here's a pic of my fabric:

Don't pay attention to the stripes you see on the fabric, thats just my ironing board cover.  And because I see that, I'm pretty sure I'll have to line the dress.  
This is fabric I got at a yard sale for $2, and there's about 4 yards of it!   Cheesy

There will be progress pics, and if you see my daughter in a couple, thats just cause she's a camera hog. Smiley
