Wow, you're already done?  That was incredibly fast!  And it looks great!

For the flowers, I used a floral 'spray paint' .  I got it at Michael's in the paint area.  I am amazed at how nice it covers and doesn't make the petals hard like regular spray paint would.

Dudes and Dudettes, I'm sooo in!  I love customes!!!!
this year our theme is Pirates! So I have to do Pirate outfits for myself, my twin sister, my 14 year old cousin( she is taller than my husband!) my husband and my baby. (he'll be 17 months old by then.)
think I'll cheat. I'll buy legging instead of making pants, but the shirts and corsets! Ye-hah. or should it be "AAAaaargg!!"

Wow, reminds me... 2 years ago,we went to a September showing of Little Shop of Horrors.  We made the misatke of asking my buddy's 10 year old daughter what she wanted to be for Halloween on the way home.  Of COURSE, she said she wanted to be Twoey.

Well, we pulled a 16 hour sew-a-thon, using the Simplicity Fish head costume, but whew!  We made an award winning Twoey costume!

It had a few balance problems, but she put her bag of goodies behind her head, and it worked great!  She even got her long coveted trophy for most humorous!

Such fun to make, too!  Here I am being eaten by Twoey!  Oooooooh!  Somewhere that's green!

I'll probably join in the costume-a-long, as I have to have my fairy costume done for the Renaissance fair by mid-October and don't feel like starting it *at all*.  I've never been to a faire so late in the year, I usually go in early September when it's warmer.  Who knows what a warm fairy will look liike?

That Little Red Riding Hood is fabulous!  LRRH was my first Halloween costume, but I don't think it was quite the same as that pattern.  I'd love to make that one someday.
