ok his ears look like one of them was put on upsidedown, but in reality, they are symmetrical.  at least that is what i tell myself...  i got his pattern from some book i found at the library on making soft toys (from the 70s or 80s).  he has a cat counterpart (as in the owl and the pussycat).  his guitar strings took forever to do; they are a little wavey looking, but they were HARD!  should have used wire now that i think about it!  or fishing line.  maybe i will re-do them.

He is so sweet! And the guitar just makes it! Are you going to do the pussycat companion? Couldn't possibly be cuter than this guy. The eyes are terrific, too - they stand out so wonderfully. Kudos!

He's so cute! And you know who he reminds me of?? The little dude from "The Clash of the Titans"!! Except, you know, fluffy Cheesy BUBO!! That's his name!! Yaaay!! Keep on with the cuteness... And by the way, from where I'm sitting, the strings look fine Smiley

I love him! He's super cute and the guitar is brilliant! Never really think of the owl as a rockin kind of bird.

I love him!  That book sounds familiar too.  I think I may have it somewhere at home.  I should look it up and make my own owl.   Grin

You really can't go wrong with owls ever, but I don't think I've ever seen an owl that reaches the heights of awesomeness of an owl with a guitar.

He's super cute. This would be a great gift for one of my friends...her sorority's mascot is an owl. She plays drums though, so her version would have a drum instead of guitar.

I love that pretty rockstar owl and I need an autograph! Also your sexy owl looks a little bit like Yoda I think...
It's something about those eyes, so packed with wisdom!

Oh, and his ears fits him very well and with those strings he'll play the hell outta everyone. Yeah? Yeah!
It's a masterpiece, rest asure! Kiss
