I'm hoping either Viet Nam or Bali, but I have a while to decide. If I can't afford that, maybe Costa Rica or Belize. Somewhere far away and pretty and warm!  Wink

How are these for dates?[/b]

I like these dates.  They work well for me.  My b-day is on the 29th (turning 38) and I will be out of town visiting my sister.  Its the first time we have celebrated together since I was about 19.  But I will make sure I have my package sent before then.

For my 30th, I'm going to Africa!  My hubby & I always plan an exotic (foreign at least!) trip each year, and this year we found one to Tanzania that leaves on my birthday. A suitable milestone trip for a milestone b-day. Mostly wildlife safari in Serengeti and Ngorongoro Crater - we leave in 10 days, yippee!!!  (I'm so excited I can't wait!!!)

TOT-ALLY jealous of you ladies going to exotic locales.  I'm lucky enough to have a night out without my kiddos at the movie tavern!  (Student Loans haunt my every holiday and paycheck!  UGH!)

ME TOOOO!  It is sad, isn't it?  The worst part is I haven't even been working more than really part time the past 2 years, since we had kids so quickly!  So I am not really using that BS in Psych from a Private school!  My student loan payment is usually more each month than my actual income from painting!

I am still thinking of having a PEZ party though...does that make me immature?    I haven't had anything remotely resembling a birthday party since I was 16, so I thought this one would be worth celebrating!

Immature?...I had my first ever Barbie Themed birthday party when I turned 30!  Ha!  ONLY because I was 5 months pregnant with my daughter and I wanted my husband to get me the 'Pregnant Barbie' to commemorate my first pregnancy!  (and so far, last pregnancy!)

He surprised me by getting Barbie plates, cups, napkins, etc. to go along with it!  I felt a tad silly...but I never actually had the 'real' Barbies growing up.  (We only had the $1 ones you get that don't bend their legs and arms.)

Everyone thought it was really cute, and I felt like a kid again!
