I just turned 30 last week!   (or as I may now start telling people, "twenty-ten")

Sheesh, Beavis & Butthead?  Lol, I'd join just for that!   Grin  Maybe we should do a Beavis & Butthead swap!

Kiki_eks...can you extend or belay the sign up time so I can join in?
yes of course - these dates are not in stone - I was putting that out there for ideas and get some suggestions going.

i also wanted to chime in that i might need more than 2 weeks to craft!
i will change the sign up dates and will you still need more than 2 weeks to craft. I can do 3 but when it gets longer then us "craftsters swap addicts" get a little antsy waiting for their craft also it gets a bit tricky with the new swap limit of 5 and having in progress on your profile can feel like months when you want to join more.

I do like the idea of a swap for where we are at now in our lives....that pretty cool.
-Day

I guess I am in a point of my life where I have no clue what that is and how I would put it down for someone to craft for - but i will add it to the list. Wink

so I will do a questionnaire and we craft according to it - also communication with our partners will be a must and will help with ideas.

Yay, I really hope I can join this one ^_^. And I don't think we'd need more then 2 weeks, really. But that's just me. 2 weeks seems a long time if you want to swap (and since 1'll be my limit for a while, being new and all).

And yes, communication will be very much key. As for me, personally...absolutely no Beavis & Butthead....I still get tendencies to strangle someone when I see/hear them lol

"just keep crafting, just keep crafting"

Sorry I've been gone so long. Am trying to get back on the boards. Body's thrown me for a few loops these past months and am still learning to adjust. Thanks for your patience.

I am at my limit but am close to send on one. So if I am able to clear up that feedback by 9/6 I will sign up!

Hmm...being a bi-centennial baby I may opt for a '76 theme. Cheesy

Good lord - the bicentennial. My mom let my sister and I paint our room red, white and blue -- with the WALLS red!! I still twitch when I see those colors together. And I have to blame those red walls for my love of Nick Cave later in life!

And all of our school photos from that year with the Liberty Bell props and flag backgrounds.
HOoooo wheee!

And I have to come down on the anti B&BH side. I worked around teen boys (running a record store) when the show was hot and if I heard one more "huh huh huh" laugh I would ... uh twitch again! ; )

Yeah, I even received a red white and blue birth certificate (not the official one mind you). Though I can't say I really like thos colors, other thant the white...but there is always the dark red/dark blue 'vintage' ish type look.

Haha, yeah I still sort of like B&BH, though not enough to have the desire to own anything...though DH might. Smiley I got my mom to do the 'huh-huh' once. hehehe What a good sport she was.

Love the red, white & blue rooms!  Mine was also red white and blue - the first room that I actually picked the colors out for.  But I had red (shag) carpet, white walls and a navy blue ceiling with glow in the dark stars!  oooooooohhhh  Grin

And Keanu = cardboard actor.  I haven't seen anything remotely like an emotion from him ever.  Which is why he was so perfect as Ted "Theodore" Logan.  Excellent!

OK, hooray for bi-centennial babies!  (me too!)
I am still weeks shy of my actual 30th b-day (or "29 again", as I say)...but if you'll let 'almost 30' in, I could play too!
