Oh thanks, I am doing the poppet craft-along and wanted to get going on her dress which is in that post as well......I finially printed it but found this great post along the way. Thanks for the link I will take a look at that one too.

You sew around the edges with a running stitch (hand-stitching) and pull the thread, so it shrinks (you fill it, so it is a ball shape). When I was writing those directions, I knew very few English sewing terms...
