What should I do? I want to join a swap. But all the ones that interest me have the requirement of already completing a swap or 2!! How will I ever complete one with the requirements like that? Anyone know what I should do?

This question is answered in the Swap FAQ:

03. I want to swap but I'm a newbie and all the swaps say I have had to do one or two swaps previously.  What does this actually mean?

This doesn't mean you have to have already participated in one or two swaps.

The "one swap rule" means that while you are participating in your very first swap you are not allowed to sign up for any more until that first swap has been completed.  After that time, you are allowed to participate in up to five swaps at a time.

The "two swap rule" refers to organizing eligibility.  Before organizing any swap, a member must have participated in two full swaps.

Unless the swap specifically states that first time swappers are not allowed to join, you will be eligible to join if you have met the one month/15 posts minimum.

There are plenty of swaps that do not require one successful swap before joining.

Try joining one that doesn't have that requirement.  I know you say all the ones that interest you have that requirement so try one that may seem easy and that you may at least a little fun with.

There was a 24-hour swap going a while ago, you might want to see if you can get in on another round of that Wink

Yep, you're going to have to find one without a requirement.  Smiley

There are lots of them.  Open your swap interests to a broader topic/theme and I'm sure you can find something you like.

I looked at all the swaps....the only one that don't require previous swaps, are the pikmin one (Not even sure what that is) and the quilting one (which I have no idea how to do) So that pretty much leaves me no where Huh

Guess I'll just keep checking back?

Tampon Case Swap...
It says, "This is a great swap for those looking for a quick or first experience." on the signup thread.  Wink

Where are you seeing the requirement that you have to have one or two completed?  Sad  These were the first three I looked at.
