Poor Elphie, her feet are too big to fit ballerina slippers! But she keeps dancing anyway.

Elphie is much cuter in person, but after spending 3 or 4 hours taking & editing pictures I had to give up. Her tutu is knit from a rayon/cotton yarn and her waistband & flower are crocheted from Debblie Bliiss Baby Cashmerino. (amigurumi is great for those leftover scraps!). I made her two tops, fabric & crocheted, but both looked absolutely hideous on her so I had to chuck them. Maybe I'll try one more time.

Awwwww!   She is adorable!  She looks just perfect without a shirt (after all, elephants don't wear shirts).  My sister loves her little bird friend especially.

She's adorable!  Smiley  How long did she take to make (w/o the tops)?

Your pictures are great as well.  Thanks for sharing!   Smiley

Awww..... I love her so so much!!! Just as she is too. If I saw her in a store I would buy her in a hearbeat. You did an amazing job, and her big black eyes are just so expressive. Beautiful!!! Oh and the little bird friend just makes it that much more adorable.

Awwwww--she's so cute and you're very talented. The pics look just fine, although I'm sure she is cuter in person.

I think she looks perfect, even without a top.  Very nicely done!

I totally agree, and I thought I was the only person who used "huggle" on a regular basis!

You did an awesome job, your elephant is absolutely amazing. I don't think she needs a shirt either! I love how her arms are up so she looks like she's waiting for a hug. Great job!

I know I already stopped by once, but I wanted to come by again to visit her!  Smiley  It's early morning & she's just a cheerful image for tired eyes.

OH!  I also forgot to mention, I love the color combination you have used.  Smiley
