That is SO great!  I love me some unicorns, but I'm also from KY (lots of horses around here) so I'm definitely going to try this!! THanks for posting and for posting the link!

"But why don't you scream now?" Alice asked, holding her hands ready to put over her ears again.

"Why, I've done all the screaming already," said the Queen. "What would be the good of having it all over again?"

Cute!  Where does allfreecrafts get there patterns?  I've got the Crochet World magazine this appeared in from a couple years back.  Had to buy it on Ebay just for that pattern because I couldn't find it on the web...

Edited to add:
Wow.. ok... I read the submission guidelines for Crochet World and they state explicitly that they buy the sole rights to the patterns unless otherwise arranged.  Now, the author of the pattern in question is Fran Goreham, according to the attribution in the magazine, and I can guarantee those pics on the site posted above are the ones from the magazine.  The webmaster of the website posted above states that in submitting a pattern to her website you consent to give her sole rights to the pattern... I'm not sure that's possible with this particular pattern, since it already probably belonged to Crochet World, and the pictures most certainly did... and boy is THAT a bit much, but anyway... the attribution SHE gives is "Grandma's Hookery", which appears to be defunct, and anyway not related to the name of the author who wrote the pattern in the first place, so... it's all really screwed up as far as I'm concerned, since that Kate person claims to now "own" sole rights to that pattern, when in fact it's from Crochet World, and she doesn't even attribute it to the person who wrote it...

But really anyway, I know that saying so won't stop people from taking advantage of a free pattern site, but that gal seems to really have some balls, and I'm not sure everything she's doing is above board, but in any case, for the record, this is a pattern from the April 2004 issue of Crochet World, and is by an obviously talented hooker named Fran Goreham.  Too bad that info didn't make it to the site linked above.  Wow, I'm just really pissed off by the whole tone of everything on that website.  What a lot of nerve.  Anyway.

I need help. I have been searching high and low for the Unicorn/Horse pattern by Fran Goreham. It was in the June 06 Crochet World Magazine. I found a picture of it on a free site but the woman who ran the site had withdrawn the pattern. If you knew whom I should contact I'd be Soooo Grateful for any help you could give me. My eyes are getting goofy from searching.
Thank You Very Much

I believe it was in the April 2004 issue... not 2006...
