These are some netted bead ornaments I made on Tuesday for Christmas, for the neighbours.  They are done with iridescent translucent glass seed beads, with blue fire polished crystal accents.  Some are dangling drapes, others are netted around the ball, enclosing it.  They are draped over the non-breakable balls from Ikea, with a matte blue, slightly metallic surface - very pretty, like ice crystals in the twilight.

Here is a pic that gives you an idea of the top, and to the left, the bottom of the enclosed design.

Intriguing! You say you made all of these on Tuesday? That would imply that they were fairly easy and/or fast to make and they certainly don't LOOK easy or fast!!!

I  really MUST ask: How long DID it take you? Can i find the instructions anywhere or would you care to reveal your secrets? PLEEEEEASE?

I have made a lot of these in the past couple of years, so I can get through them relatively fast now.  I can't say how long it took to do each because I did them by stages.  The design with the dangles I purchased from www.thatbeadlady.com, and made some adjustments to it to make the enclosed one.  I started doing basic netted ornaments from some free patterns on the net.  Here is a good basic one to start with:

bead and button magazine has some on their site too - they used to be free - but now you have to pay for the info (b@st@rds).
