I've learned not to make stupid jokes when replying to a convo because it may ruin the purchase...twice!

from now on I'll try to keep my retardness to a minimum.

that's what I learned.....

I learned to be as friendly as possible! Sometimes I can have a bit of an edgy side, but this site has showed me that life is easier when you are nicer! I also have learned to be more organized with money.

P.S. Your dog is adorable! I have a black and tan mini dauchsund as well... His name is Leo!

I have learned to take any opportunity to promote my shop.....at work....at the GYN office....while shopping....any place any time is perfect to get some sales! My GYN's office staff went nuts for a purse I made so I gave them my web address!

I also am learning to keep good records and to follow all of the laws that apply to businesses. I realized Friday that I did not file tax forms for last quarter and that it is required in Florida even though I didn't have any sales. So learning the laws and regulations and keeping tabs on due dates is important.

That's a good one too.  I try to do a little bit each night. I may not list items every day but I try to work on them even if it is going to get supplies after work or just painting on another layer of polyurethane on a tray!

My husband plays video games with a group of guys every Wednesday evening so I use Wednesday as a regular craft night.

I have learned that there is somewhere to sell other than eBay that actually has traffic and buyers. Before Etsy, eBay was the only place I ever had sales on. Now I just use ebay for non-crafty things.
Yes, there is life outside of eBay! Grin
