Wow, I haven't posted anything I've sewn in a while, but that doesn't mean I'm not sewing!

I did a bunch of shirts lately, and then invited friends over for a photoshoot. Some of these I like better than others, but some I LOVE... I made the green one to sell but I've decided I need to make one for myself!

arent my friends cute?

thanks y'all!

the one with the brown stripes was pretty easy to make - there is a similar tute on here somewhere but I didnt use it. Its actually a vest, and the green shirt underneath it is the one my friend was wearing that day. I just made a pattern for a tank, but then drew a diagonal down the front, basically cutting off one shoulder. I then redrafted the hem so it hangs asymetrically. It closes with a button.

I really like how the pattern turned out, and vests and pinafores are in this fall, so I think i'm going to make a bunch more in different styles...

The knit detailing is soooo cute, and yes, like everyone else, I like the vest a lot too. Well done!
