"just keep crafting, just keep crafting"

Sorry I've been gone so long. Am trying to get back on the boards. Body's thrown me for a few loops these past months and am still learning to adjust. Thanks for your patience.

Yay I got my package yesterday in the mail... it's AMAZING!!

I received leg warmers, which I knew I'd be getting, but as an added bonus, there was also a scarf, and a sweet wire-wrapped necklace.

Thanks CraftyKate, you're amazing! I took a photo of the jewels, but haven't uploaded it yet. If you already have a pic, feel free to post if I haven't yet!

EDIT: I uploaded the picture!!

I'm so glad it got there! I don't remember if I took pictures. I was in a hurry to get it mailed since I knew it would take a while to get there. I'll look on my camera though. I think that means I'm the only one waiting to receive, and it should be here soon since raina got her stuff from me. Thank you guys for being such awesome swappers. It made my first time organizing super easy.  Grin

I'm finally getting to post pictures of the items lasandri sent me for this swap - sorry it took so long  Grin

This is a knit dishcloth and it has a tulip stitched into it (which is one of my seasonal themes in my kitchen)

and...

a beautiful crochet square for my ongoing afghan (it looks much better in real life).  It's made up of 9 smaller squares and Lasandri said it's the first square she's made and I think it's great!

THANKS for both items!

I took at least a dozen pictures of that square in all different places of the house and on different backgrounds to get it to show better but that's the best of them all and it doesn't do justice  Grin

Pictures of crochet are always weird. I think it looses some of the texture. I have a way easier time photographing knit stuff. It's strange. It's a cute though. I like the colors. I'm on a brown kick lately. I love brown and blue. The tulip on the washcloth is so cute.

So I could have probably walked to Canada and picked up my package by now, but the good old postal service finally got it to me today. Thanks so much Raina. It's so neat. Very funky, very retro. Thanks again!
