I haven't posted anything in a while, so here's what I've been up to.  Sorry for my child's dirty face - he had just eaten a popsicle.   Cheesy

Hmmm, not sure why my pics aren't showing up.  Maybe they're too large?  I dunno.  Anyway, if you want you can click on my blog link at the bottom of my post to see these.

I looked at the pics on your blog and all your stuff is very nice.  I especially like those corrugated rib hats (and the model has amazing eyes!)
Nice work!

All of your knitted items turned out beautiful, and your son?  He should be a professional hat model!  Oh, those eyes!

Mistake?  No... it's an Unexpected Design Element.  I put it there on purpose.  *ahem*

Thank you all!  Both for the compliments on my knitting & my son.  He got my eyes but got my DH's lashes.  Why are such fabulous lashes wasted on men?   LOL.  The little guy is already a huge flirt, so I am soooo not looking forward to the teenage years.

On the  Loop-D-Loop book, it's actually in with the corrugated rib sweater.  There's a small section for the hat, which I believe was actually meant to be a gauge swatch and they ended up giving it some shaping for a hat.

It is knit flat, so there is some seaming involved although you could probably easily adjust it to do it in the round.  I actually enjoy doing mattress stitch so I really liked doing these.
