Hello! I'm having too much with this whole bag making shindig!

Here's the latest in the Sixtopus series (so much more designs swimming in my head!) It's a messenger bag created with the Messenger Bag Gusster tutorial on this forum. It features little Bobby Joe playing soccer. Bobby Joe is a Sixtopus because he lost two of his tentacles. His first was lost while playing his favorite sport and the second tentacle... well... let's say you should always look both ways when getting off a bus in the middle of a busy street. Bobby Joe sure learned his lesson!

Nonetheless, Bobby Joe continues to play soccer as evidenced in this lovely bag, measuring about 12" long, 11" tall and 4.5" deep! UNfortunately I couldn't keep as it was for my good friend CYnthia Sad

Thanks for looking!  Grin  Roll Eyes

That is so cute! I love the colors you used--the brown and orange with little blue accents are great. Your work looks so professional too, that stitching around Bobby Lee's little tentacles looks perfect.  I'll be sure to check out you site again later ^_^

I love your bags. They look so cute and no one would think they are selfmade.

bootiful!  hate to rain on said parade (or to make leude references) but wouldn't be be a sextapus, if we're sticking to the numbering system?  i do appreciate the mix of colour and texture.  as stated above, a pro job.

Diesel: Yes, but I think Sixtopus sounds less threatening than SEXtapus... you know  ehhehe

Amelia: No, it was all done with the machine. Bobby Joe and the soccer ball have some cotton filling inside them. I can't remember the word for that. Kinda like foam, but sorta.

Cassiemarie: I use this strong interfacing I buy at a upholstery store close to home. It's a dark grayish and its used for the bottom of sofas and other furniture. Not sure what it's called. I actually use two types. That dark grayish one and a less thicker one. I interface the heck out of my bags  hehe
