Grin Every thing posted has been very neat!  Some great work & terrific ideas.  Is it too late to join??  I posted Miss Purple Kitty a bout a month or so ago in the toys

I have not made anything since her but would love to do more.

Hey hey! I haven't been here in a while...nice work Ms. Rosie (eeeeeee! My name is Rosie too!!) and Nasty wench! I adore felt!! I just made another doll but  she is not completely felt so I'll post her up in the toy board later. BUT I did make a little felt strawberry......HER E!!

...and the back!

Enjoy me hearties!! (I gave away my itty strawberry as a last minute birthday gift! It was much appreciated (even though it's incredibly useless!!!))

I don't know if this is the place to be asking this, but when you are making something in felt, say in the shape of a cube, and you want the edges to look sort of like they have a blanket stitch on them, how do you do that?  It seems like a regular blanket stitch wouldn't give you "legs" on each side of the seam.

Can anyone help?

That is a good question.  Dont you just do a blanket stitch and the seam would just stand up a little bit?  There is also the whip stitch.  I see that one a lot.

You could also do the blanket stitch on one side and then go back over it attaching the other piece with your blanket stitch looping through the first half.  Does that make sense?  I've never tried it, but I can picture it in my head.

I had to laugh... all felt stuff is useless. It's just so frickin' cute that it doesn't matter. Grin
