This is a fine silver brooch I made using Precious Metal Clay (pmc)...  It has lots of tiny cubic zircon going around the edge!  The pretty colors on the metal are achieved by using liver of sulphur.

I am still working out the best way to get photos of my jewelry...

Questions/comments, please!

That is GORGEOUS!!!!!!! LOVE the coloring... that is talent! LOS can be tricky... if i could get my colors to look that good I would use it more often.
What type of fastener did you use for the back?

Thank you for commenting!  I love comments Smiley

craftsurge, I find I have the best control over my LOS if I keep my silver object hot and make sure the LOS is warm.  I've also had good luck applying it with a paintbrush.  I haven't been able to look at it yet, but here is a pdf about LOS http://pmc-conference.com/techresources/resources06/Holly_Gage-LOS_article.pdf

For the fastener, I soldered two tie tack style pins on the back.  I spaced them quite a bit, so the pin can be worn in any direction.

Are you a metalsmith too?

Thanks for the tips!... I don't think I would call myself a metalsmith. I am a metalsmith "in training". I am having a lot of fun learning though. Hopefully my website will be up soon.

I LOVE this, even way more than the cufflinks!

Love the shape, the weight, the colors...ehh, maybe not the cubic zirconia, BUT...it's wonderful!
