Ok kiddies, this is my first post after lurking here for quite a while. I apologize in advance if I jack up the picture. This picture is also the only one I have so just ignore the boy in the picture and look at the mirror Wink
I wish i had a better quality one.

I made this for a friend about a year ago as a gift  for some tattoo work he did on me.
In case the picture doesn't illustrate well enough...
It's a giant cross I made out of 2 by 4. I covered it with a black semi sparkley felt and monster fur to border it. It has a holographic jesus mounted in the middle, added some smashed up mirror pieces and other random trinkets, and designs. I wanted to add some barbed wire but had a really hard time finding some.

I just kinda faked my way through it and was surprised it turned out so favorable. Since this one(my first) I made my brother an elvis one and im making a really super pink sparkley gross girly one for myself right now.
Everything I make always ends up covered with glitter and pink...i can't help it.

I'm thinking about doing a masoic on my wall behind my drafting table with broken mirror and such.
I have about a million junky old mirrors i need to turn out so they serve a purpose. best part is alot of them have great frames which i can spruce up after i smash the inside out Wink

that is delightfully kitschy. you say it has fur, too??

i need to think of more iconic shapes that don't have to do with christianity. (it isn't that i don't like your cross, it is just that i am keeping my own christian kitsch to a minimum). hearts and stars.... but not much else unless i just start promoting rhombuses all on my own.

in any case: nice crafting!

oh. now that is absolutely wonderful. i think i'll have to try that out soon. but i think i'll do letters instead and decorate my new bedroom walls with pretty little vulgar words.

Aww man,  wish I could see the picture!  It asked me for a password when I tried.  I collect crosses and have made a few too......  yours sounds very unique!
