ANZAC  means Australia and NewZealand Army Corp.   In World War 1  Australia and New Zealand particpated in the War but both countries did not have their own army.  They were a section British Army.    ANZAC Biscuits  ( because we say biscuit not cookie in Australia) were made by the families and loved ones of the ANZACs and sent over to the men in Red Cross Packages.  Look up Gallipoli if you want to findout more about the courageous ANZACs

ANZAC biscuits  Ingredients

Rolled Oats
Plain Flour
Dessicated Coconut
Sugar
Bi carbonated Soda (slightly different from baking power)
Butter
Golden Syrup (a product from Sugar Cane but not as dark as treacle or Molasses)

Oh my goodness!  That is the greatest needle roll ever!  Somebody wist it so I can copy it off your wists.  For some reason I can't add to my wists any other way.  (Pathetic, I know!)

Cute hat and earrings, too.

Three cheers for swap angel Dulcinea and our organizin' Racky!!
