The shapes are actually thin cork circles I got at an industrial waste recyling chops. I sandwiched 2 over the bent end of the wire and superglued them together

Kate- the scarf is this awsome knit stitch that sort of looks like crochet.  Hope you like it, I had some left over yarn from the Mary-Janes, and though, why not?

Hey just wanted to let you in on a little knitting secret!!! Their are only knit and purl stitches in knitting!!! All the other stitches are just combos of those two!! So you are off to a much better start than you thought!!!

Thanks!  My hubby is buying me a knitting patterns book I saw at Borders.  I have every needle size now, including circular ones, so I am going to just start browsing the knitting sites (knitty)...I think my downfall is going to be trying to follow a pattern--I have the attention span of a gnat...

BTW--our dogs kinda look alike--yours looks like mine when he was a pup...husky, doberman, shepherd, devil mix---hee hee

Hey, gallery watchers...just a reminder: signups will start tomorrow morning! If you don't have a partner and you want to join, suck it up and ask somebody already!!

25 couple max, but only one partner per swapper, so there will hopefully be room for everyone who wants to play.

haha, opps!  the black yarn makes it hard to see the stitch definition, so I wasn't sure.  Smiley

I also have the attention span of a gnat so I tend to stick to patterns that I can memorize eaisly but have enough to them that I am not board to death knitting them!

I have though that our dogs look a lot a like for a while lol! He was 10 weeks in that pic he is now totally diffrent closer to yours and 5 months old. He is malamute/wolf mix. Huskys and malamutes look so much a like it is unreal! And yes he has his fair share of devil mixed in for good measure! lol

Sorry I've been gone so long. Am trying to get back on the boards. Body's thrown me for a few loops these past months and am still learning to adjust. Thanks for your patience.

Signups will be held for two weeks or 25 sets of partners sign up...whichever comes first. Last round filled up in about a day and a half, so the two weeks are mainly for people to clear out old feedback if they need to.  Smiley
