   I agree!!!  You look so pretty!  Me, when I try to look pretty for pictures, I lookmy worst!  It's always in my sloppy, unwashed state that I get a good picture of myself!     That necklace compliments that top very well!!!  Totally wisting that green necklace!!!

i got my second package from the lovely catpants (and isn't THAT a fun name to say out loud) which i was not expecting today and which also made me SUPER happy.

my good camera is at home.  pardon the departmental camera.



inside the box was this gorgeous assortment of items for the home.  which will look fabulous in my first real home!

what you see are two lavender soaps (that made the box smell divine), handspun/handdyed yarn, a sweet throw pillow with very kanzashi-like flowers sewn on, two itty bitty embroidered wall hangings (eek, too cute!), a set of cute-as-a-button cards, a felted flower bobby pin (which i will wear until the flower falls off, trust me) and a handknit dishcloth.

whew!  i'm tired just TYPING all that.  and she did SUCH a great job with the sewing and embroidery.  i'm truly impressed.







and, is it  my imagination or does the yarn still smell like kool aid?  i'm not sure, but now i'm hungry.  and i have to find a pattern for it asap.
