Here's what cotneyroo sent me!

A knitting needle roll featuring Granny Smith Apples.  They make a kick ass spring salad paired with walnuts and balsamic vinaigrette, btw.
And next to it is my vase filled with most of my needles.  (I'm glad she made the roll big) Wink

Here's a pic of the needleroll unrolled with more gifts:  Size 7 Clover Bamboo Knitting Needles (tops- bamboo is AMAZING to knit with), the cute fall card she used for her note, one of Aunt Martha's iron-on embroidery transfers "Animated Kitchenware", AND The Autobiography of Alice B. Toklas by Gertrude Stein.  Cotneyroo, did you peek at my livejournal?  I was reading this book before I moved and wasn't able to finish it.  Now I have my own copy!  Gertrude Stein is an amazing woman writer and Alice B. Toklas is her partner.  She had an atelier filled with paintings from all the famous artists of the time period and in the center was the great table where when she invited the artist's over, she cleverly placed them across from their own painting.  She was great friends with Pablo Picasso.  So far, it's a grand book and I've heard many people say good things about it.  Pick it up at your local public library!

She also sent these beautiful stitch markers with wooden beads.  I should be starting some new projects soon, so these will come in handy.  They even came in a delicate golden pouch (what they are resting on in the picture).
There's also this little pin!  I've had it in my wists for a while now.  It matches the next item...

A skirt!  The Hot Tamale skirt minus the black yarn and flames from Knitty.com that is.  This skirt is very comfortable, warm and soft, so I asked cotneyroo what yarn she used.  Believe it or not, it's Red Heart Soft Yarn!!!!  I guess now I can't rag on Red Heart being the toilet paper of the yarn world.
Oh, and this is me standing on my bathroom counter trying to get a picture of my reflection in the mirror.

Sorry I've been gone so long. Am trying to get back on the boards. Body's thrown me for a few loops these past months and am still learning to adjust. Thanks for your patience.

I see them. They're uploaded to my website and I've never had any problems with my photos not showing up,  hmmm. It's not like I'm short on bandwidth or anything [we have way more than we'll ever use!]

Here's links to see if that works better for you alwaysinmyroom:

Okay, here's the pictures of the great stuff I got from knitting_nyxxie.
An awesome stenciled tank top:

Some red relaxing soaps and some cute green soaps. It's a turtle and a frog.

A pink knitted hair scarf. Although, I was wearing it as a scarf today with my cropped hoodie. Cheesy

Pink and purple knitted pouch.

Some goreous jewelry. I love that it's pink! So sparkly!!!

Oh, on the money holders here's how they work. It's not supposed to totally make sense or else it wouldn't be *magic*. haha
