Aw, so cute. I've only been crocheting for a little while (I'm still working on the very first scarf I started *g*), but I so want to try something like this when I get good.

These are awesome! I've crocheted many things, but never a creature. I'm inspired!

Cute! I like the purple and teal together. I can't tell because the colors on my monitor are off, but did you crochet the eyepatch? If so, instructions? I have a friend who LOVES pirates, whose birthday is soon ...

ETA: I notice now that you didn't [unless I'm totally blind!]. But now I'm curious as to how you made it.

nope, i didn't crochet the patch, i just cut the basic shape out of felt and used a yarn needle to poke holes on the sides and plain ol' black yarn to keep it on. (it ties in the back.) though i'm sure you could substitue the yarn for elastic string, i just didn't have any lying around.

Here's mine! It's not quite as tall because I lost count of the stitches (silly boys think they can talk while I'm crocheting heh) but I still think it turned out alright. It's for my cousin since her dad died a few weeks ago....so I tried to personalize it to look anime-ish. I'm not the hugest fan of anime so I wasen't sure what to put  Smiley I know she loves Inuyasha so I was going to maybe put Inuyasha ears on it but I thought that would look a little to wierd so I went with the anime face instead lol. When I was sewing the legs on I didin't even think to only attach the top, now they are stiff and don't dangle....but that's ok since he will probably be on a desk somewhere his whole life  Grin The sun kind of washed it out, but it's a deep lime/spring green color!

Thank you so so much for the awesome tutorial! It was the easiest pattern to follow ever....I had no questions or confusion!  Grin
