I have so much stuff I could send for this swap, but I'm trying to declutter, not get more stuff back!  Still could be tempting...

I have a silly question...do magazine pages/clippings count as ephemera? And should everything be acid-free? Or should we leave it up to what our partners need/want?  Grin

yeah i definitely lucked out. when i saw the box full of them i started digging through looking for some with audrey hepburn. the guy had each one priced for about $3 or $4 a piece but he just offered the whole box to me for $15! i was visiting my mom in missouri so i had to fly back with this stuff. i wound up borrowing a big duffle bag from her and cramming it all in there. lol it was worth it!

I've been eyeing this swap, waiting to finish my first one so I could join up.  Just the thought of new paper makes me so very happy Smiley

Ember77,

Not silly at all. I feel that magazine pages & clippings definitely count as ephemera. I know I personally don't care about acid-free-ness so I think I'm going to leave it up to the partners to decide.

Everyone else (including lurkers that are debating signing up!):

Please consider shipping outside your country. From the rough partnerings I've been making in my head (because I don't have enough going on in there driving me crazy already, woe) it's looking like the non-US swappers won't be able to send (or more to the point) receive the full amount they'd like.

Poking around on the USPS site, and pulling a random weight of 16oz out of thin air, it would cost: $4.65 USD to send that pound 'o paper love to Canada, and $4.05 USD to send it within the US. Soooo, not too painful, eh? Smiley

Yay! I just got approved for this one! Have a couple of questions....

In addition to the vintage paper, books, and misc. ephemera I have, I also have the Ephemera and More Ephemera books that have some cool things in them. Would it be ok to add one of those books or part of it into a package for this? It wouldn't be all i send, but i want to add some of the pages as i have an extra book i got for $4 at Archiver's. SO i guess i am asking if those type of book pages or photocopies of them are cool to add to the packages in addition to old original ephemera.Smiley
I am about to leave in 10 minutes to go to estate sales.....I will pick up some things i normally don't especially for this swap! Smiley woo hoo!

Thanks!

I'm in!

Also, I don't remember if I said I would or wouldn't ship outside the US...but if you need some other people then go ahead and give me some one abroad. It might actually be more interesting!
