yes, that's right, i said legwarmers...my boyfriend has been begging me to get some (i have no idea where he's getting it, i just figure it's best not to ask) and so instead of buying some, i made some! i wouldn't know where to buy legwarmers, anyway, this not being the 80s and all.

so, while viewing this you have to keep in mind that i'm a beader at heart, who is trying with all her might to master knitting. it has not happened yet, but it might someday. i made these using the smallest knifty knitter loom.

(please excuse the little pieces of paper on the floor. my kitten decided that the toilet paper was threatening her today.)

i have to admit that i scoffed at the idea of legwarmers for a long time ("hello! this is not the 80s!"), but these are surprisingly comfortable and warm! i recommend them to anyone who likes to hang out in shorts but gets slightly chilly.

The 80's are taking their revenge atm, don't forget. Your photos are broken, but I can imagen these being pretty rad.

And for people that the photos aren't working for, if you right click, hit properties, and copy the URL into your browser you should be able to see them.

hm, i don't know why my pics always seem to work for half the people who look at them and then are broken for the other half...

how do those fit your leg since they are on the knifty knitter loom thing?

mine just happened to be the right size, totally by coincidence, but i'm making a set for my friend who has much skinnier legs than me- i'm going to use the same loom (unless i can find a smaller one) but i'm going to sew in a ribbon at the top she can use to keep the legwarmers on. big bows were pretty 80s too, right? Good Idea, I was wondering what else could be done with the looms.  I like the stripes, great job.
