Here is a snowman that I designed and crocheted almost entirely with recycled grocery bags.  The only yarn I used is in his nose and scarf.  Enjoy!!!

Neat!  What a great way to use up all those bags that I never throw out(I recycle them at work as trash bags, this is definatly cooler though!).

I have to try this.  I have seen the plastic bags, but no one has ever tried anything else that I have seen.  This is great!

Did you use a pattern or make up your own?

I made up my own pattern.  But really, just about any pattern that calls for yarn, I think you could substitute the plastic.

I had another look at this to see which parts you crocheted with yarn- and a question popped up in my head! Did you use more bags to stuff the snowman, or something else? Polyester fiberfill maybe? Once again, brilliant job!
