Your bag looks great!  The tattoo fabric isn't heavyweight home decor like the pattern recommends, is that right?  I love the fabric, did you back it with anything to make it heavier?  I have the pattern to make the bag, but the material I want to use isn't the heavyweight fabric and I was wondering if you had any problems.  Thanks!

It's just a quilting cotton for both the lining and exterior.  I didn't have any problems with it, in fact, it was probably easier to sew than using heavier weight.  The canvas interlining really helped give it shape, but if you use a heavier weight material it would probably keep it's shape more than my bag.

Thanks for the response.  I'm going to give it a try, it's just going to be a giant purse, not to carry a laptop.  Thanks!
