Oh, I like this idea.  I've just started making a quilt for my new nephew. I'm appliqueing(spelling) on Winnie the Pooh characters for the squares.  This is my first time making a quilt and my first time doing applique.  I've cheated though and used fusible webbing to keep the pieces in place and am embroidering the details on to help the pieces stick better. If that makes sense.  I'll try to post pix of the squares I already have done once I get my computer working right.
