Baby Pinwheel Sweater

Into this:



Well, not the baby part, but this doesn't seem like the appropriate place to get into how she was made. It took just over a week and this pattern is a dream to knit up. There are lots more photos and discussion on my blog.

and the baby!!!  what a cute picture!  never seen such a tiny baby smiling like that!  it looks as if she is having the time of her life (or a lil drunk...  hihihi...  a pull that smile when i'm tipsy).

very cool sweater and absolutely PRECIOUS baby!  the sweater is very chic for a baby sweater and i now wish i knew a baby i could make one for!  what pattern did you use? (to make the sweater not the baby )

Awww!! What a cute baby?! And I love the sweater. I've been wanting to try that pattern, but I don't think I've got the skill for it quite yet. lol.

Yep. Chloe_hippy got it all right.

I used elann.com Peruvian Highland Wool in the following colors: Silver Birch, Dried Herb, New Leaf, Oregano, Lotus Blossom, Grape, Autumn Purple.

If you make the child's version, you could probably make two out of the yarn you're told to purchase for one. You just have to make them in reverse color order.

argh! colours + pattern + baby all fantastic! (and i don't normally really like babies. i hope mine turn out looking like yours. given that both me and the boy are both sandy blondes, somehow i doubt it...)
