We are in love with R2D2 in this house, so this was the perfect answer for this winters hat!

I had been thinking about this for AGES now, and had time to fit a quick project in, so went for it.  Smiley
I used a model of R2 for the shapes on his hat, and just simplified them. I based the sizing on the SnB 'kitty hat, (cos I know that fits me really well).  Grin
ETA: this is my first intarsia project (needs practice, I know!)  Roll Eyes

I've already had several requests for R4D4 ones as well, including a local barman (who also wants a batman balaclava) shouting "make me one!, make me one, PLEEEASE!!" over the bar!!   Grin

Thanks, I was pleased with the decreasings on the top of the hat, they came out really well. (I did 6 to match the number of panels etc on R2)  Smiley

Wow!  Haha, I wish I had that hat when I was R2D2 for Halloween one year.  My mom made me a papier mache hat with lights, but it's cold here in Alberta, and a toque like that would have been better.

I third the request for a pattern!
